Minas de Camaquã - Bárbara e Serena

Minas de Cmaquã is situated in Caçapava do Sul, Rio Grande do Sul. In the old times there had been copper extraction but nowadays  there is just fun and entertainment. In this town the visitor has direct contact with the nature, where he can do a lot of activities like visiting the industrial mining area, city tour, rappel, canoeing, bike ride, wall climbing, rock climbing,tree climbing, trekking,horse riding , a 1.000 m super zip-line and much more.

Other activity that we can do in Minas de Camaquã is climbing at “Pedra da Cruz” moutain , which receives that name because it has a metal cross that is 17 meters high. This place is ideal for trekking and climbing,  with a panoramic view for the town and  Barragem João Dias.

 More over , Minas de Camaquã also offers two mines, one open and another underground that 500 meters deep, where copper formely has been extracted .
