Zanzibar


Zanzibar is an archipelago localized next to the coast of Tanzania, in the margin East African. This place is divided in two islands: Unguja (or Zanzibar) and Pemba, which are separated by Zanzibar’s Cannal, in the Indian Ocean. 




The best tourist attraction is the clean sea and the white sand, but if you go there between June and September, Zanzibar has Safaris that tourists recommend to go. 


Muslim is the religion in this place. You will need to follow some rules there,
 mainly about clothes and behavior


The architecture had been influenced by Arabs, Hindus, Africans and Europeans. The place has a harmonic air, common in mercantile ports of Oriental Africa.

  • ·         Zanzibar is a place with good production of spices, like cloves, cinnamon and pepper.
  • ·         Language: Swahili, Banto idiom with more speakers in the world.
  • ·         Independence: December, 10th of 1963.
  • ·         Currency: Tanzanian shilling, which represents R$ 0,0015.
  • ·         Population: 1 million of residents.
