            Bento Gonçalves is famous for his vineyards and wine production, but the place that we indicate to know is the tourist script of Caminho das Pedras, which is full of old houses of settlers from the beginning of the century, which mostly has the bottom part made of stone (hence comes the "stones" of the path name). In this path is located the House of Sheep.

            The House of Sheep is an old house from the beginning of the century, which was turned into an attraction, with several activities that the visitors can do. For example, on the second floor of the house there is a lecture where some of the history about the House of Sheep is presented, after the visitors have a tasting of products made by the House of sheep (mainly cheese). At the bottom is a store with some of the products made in the House of Sheep, among other products that are sold.

             The Sheep Park was formerly known only as House of Sheep, the name changed because now, the site hosts various activities so that visitors can get to know the daily routine of a sheep farm. Every 30 minutes a different activity is offered to visitors. Access is a fee for admission - adults R $ 20.00, children up to 5 years free and over 60 R $ 10.00 - which is valid throughout the day and the service is done by a team of monitors, which accompany visitors at the attractions.

             As the activities take place at different times, you can choose the activities that interest you, and enjoy the time between them to get to know other destinations of Caminho das Pedras. The activity that we believe more worthwhile is feeding puppies; after all, who would not love to feed a calf?

             The House of Sheep is the second inspected dairy that benefits the milk, the industry processes approximately 150,000 liters per year. This production is transformed into yogurt, dulce de leche and cheeses such as Feta, Ricotta and Pecorino Toscano.
